Neutral Oil Care

for the treatment and maintenance of recently oiled oak floors

Neutral Oil Care completes the oil treatment of oak floors. The colorless product is also perfectly suited for the maintenance of oiled wooden floors.

Available Pot Sizes:
The neutral oil is available in the container size 2.5 liters.

Tools:
Polishing machine and polishing pad, applicator, roller, cotton cloths.

How to do...

In order to complete the floor's treatment with the neutral oil, use Neutral Oil Care as described as follows:

1. Shake the container thoroughly and apply the product with a suitable applicator or a roller thin on the wood's surface. Polish the product with a polishing machine carefully into the floor. Use a white polishing pad therefor. Polish the floor until the surface gets an homogeneous, saturated appearance.

2. After polishing the floor, no oil may remain on the wood's surface. In particular, the floor should not appear wet.

3. Subsequently, the floor can be cleaned regularly with a wood floor soap.

In order to refresh and maintain floor's whose surfaces have been treated with the neutral oil, proceed as follows:

1. Clean the floor with Wood Cleaner (125ml) and water (5 liters). Let the floor completely dry. This process lasts at least 8 hours.

2. Shake the Neutral Oil Care canister well. Polish a thin layer of the product thoroughly into the wood. Use therefor a cloth or a white pad. For larger floor areas you can also use a polishing machine. Buff until the wood's surface receives a rich and uniform appearance. Remove any oil residues on the floor. The wood's surface should not appear wet.

3. After 6 to 12 hours, you can walk on the floor carefully. The hardening time lasts between 3 to 5 days. During this time, the floor should not be cleaned with water.
