Master Floor Oil

for the manual and machine basic treatment of wooden floors

Master Floor Oil is ideal for the basic treatment of freshly sanded, untreated or recently laid floors and wooden indoor furniture. The master floor oil penetrates well into the wood, thus ensuring a durable, water- and dirt-repellent surface.

Available Pot Sizes:
Master Floor Oil is available in the colors natural and white and in the pot sizes of 1 l, 2.5 l and 5 l.

Tools:
Short-haired paint roller for applying the oil. Handpad, Polishing pad or polishing machine for polishing the floor. Cotton cloths for removing excess oil from the surface.

How to do...

1. The Master Floor Oil should be applied only at temperatures of at least 15°C. First of all, sand the untreated wood with grit paper (grain size 100 – 120) and then clean the floor. We recommend the use of 125 ml Wood Cleaner mixed with 5 liters of water. Allow the floor to dry after cleaning.

2. To avoid color differences mix any containers with different batch numbers before applying the oil. Shake the pot carefully before and during use.

3. Apply the oil with a short-haired paint roller evenly on 5 - 10 m² of floor space and let it dry for 5 to 10 minutes.

4. Now polish the wood surface with a polishing pad or polishing machine as long until the surface receives a uniform appearance.

5. Remove any excess oil with a cotton cloth.

6. After 6 to 8 hours polish the floor again with Master Floor Oil. Recommended amount: 100 ml for 15 m² floor. Then remove any excess oil from the surface.

You can walk carefully on the floor after about 12 hours. Do not expose the newly oiled floor to water during the hardening time (3 – 5 days, depending on temperature and air moisture level). Afterwards, the floor can be cleaned using the Oil Refresher oder the Wood Floor Soap, which leaves a protective layer on the surface of your wooden floor.
