Superior Lacquer

for the treatment of interior wooden floors

The Superior floor lacquer is a durable, low-odor water-based paint. It is also suitable for heavily-used floors and always ensures a robust and resistant surface. Also perfectly suited for intensively used areas like hallways or stairs. It's also convincing because of it's high chemical and water resistance and good adhesion on already lacquered surfaces. The paint is in particular suited for the treatment of dark wood types.

The Superior floor lacquer is available in the container sizes 5 l and 10 l and in the gloss levels 20 Mat and 40 Silky Mat.

How to do...

1. If the ground has already been painted, clean it thoroughly with an intensive cleaner and sand the surface with sandpaper (grit 100) . Untreated floors must be thoroughly cleaned of dust.

2. Apply the floor lacquer evenly with a brush or a roller. Allow the lacquer to dry for 90 minutes and sand the surface with sandpaper (grit 120). Remove the sanding dust and apply a layer of lacquer again.

Optimally, the room temperature should be at least 15 – 20°C. The humidity should be maintained at 55 percent. After four hours, you can walk carefully on the surface. Light objects can be put back on the floor after 24 hours. After 8 days, the floor is fully ready for use.
