for the basic treatment of interior wooden floors

The Hardener Advanced 2K is a part of Advanced 2K Floor Lacquer. This two-component lacquer is suited for all wooden surfaces and is characterized by a high water and chemical resistance. The lacquer is scratch-resistant and has a high adhesive strength and wear resistance. Even in intensively used spaces such as offices, schools and gymnasiums this lacquer can be used.

How to do...

1. Mix 100 ml Advanced 2K hardener directly in the container with 100 ml of water. Then pour the whole mixing amount the Advanced 2K Floor Lacquer. Mix paint and hardener thoroughly by shaking the canister well. To activate the hardener, let the canisters stand for 10 minutes. The hardener loses its effectiveness four hours after mixing.

2. If the surface has already been painted, clean the floor with an Intensive Cleaner and sand it carefully with sandpaper (grit 100). Remove the sanding dust.

3. Apply the Advanced 2K two-component lacquer with a brush or a roller.

4. Allow the lacquer to dry for 90 minutes. Subsequently, sand the surface, remove the sanding dust and apply the lacquer again.

For best results ,apply the lacquer when the temperature is above 15 – 20°C and the humidity is about 55%. The room should be well ventilated. After four hours, you can walk on the floor carefully, lafter 24 hours, the floor is lightly loadable. After 8 days, the floor is fully loadable.

Do not ingest or inhale. Avoid skin and eye contact.
