Floor Primer

for the priming of new or newly sanded wooden floors

The Floor Primer is a water-based primer on acrylic base, which can also be used as a base coat for other water-based floor lacquers. The wood primer dries quickly and is easy to sand. Not only wooden floors but also and cork elements, panels, etc. can be treated with the Floor Primer.

Available Pot Sizes:
The Floor Primer is available in the container sizes of 5 and 10 liters and in the colors natural and white.

Tools:
Paint roller, brush with a hair length of 12 mm

How to do...

1. To achieve optimal results, the surface has to be clean an free of residues of other treatments. Therefore, clean the surface with an intensive cleaner if necessary. Afterwards, sand the surface with sandpaper (grit 100) und remove the sanding dust with a vacuum cleaner. To check whether the floor primer is compatible with the material, a test patch is recommended.

2. Apply the undiluted product with a paint roller or a paint brush on the floor. Depending on the temperature and air humidity it tooks about 30 – 60 minutes until the floor primer has dried. If you use the Floor Primer in the color variant nature as a primer for other paints, then sand the floor with sandpaper (grit 100 to 120) or with a sanding pad slightly before applying further coats of paint. When using the Floor Primer in the color white no re-sanding is required.

Do not breathe or swallow. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not expose to excessive heat.
