Garden Furniture Oil

for the basic finishing and maintenance of wood garden furniture

Garden Furniture Oil works as basic treatment and maintenance of wood garden furniture. The oil gives the wood a hard-wearing surface and a golden shade and enhances out the natural wood grain. All variations are with UV-protection.

Available Pot Sizes:
Garden Furniture Oil is available in natural (without colour pigments) and in the colours teak, bangkirai and white in 0,75 and 2,5 litre containers. UV-protection in all variations.

Tools:
Brush, cotton cloth and possibly hand scrubber or pad.

How to do...

1. The furniture must be completely clean before oiling. New furniture may be cleaned with Wood Quick and old furniture either with Wood Quick or with the more intensive Deep Cleaner A & B. Leave the furniture to dry for approx. 24 hours. Remove wood chips or rough fibres with fine sandpaper. Stir the oil carefully before application. Apply the oil with brush or cotton cloth in an even saturating
coat. Start with the end grain. Application only in dry weather. Avoid heat and direct sunlight.

2. Carefully remove excess oil after max. 20 min. with clean lint-free cotton cloths. Draw special attention to joints and cracks. Repeat the process in case the wood does not appear saturated. Carefully polish with a polishing pad to achieve an especially hard-wearing surface. The oil is complete ly hardened after 24–48 hours depending on weather and temperature. Do not expose the furniture to water during hardening time.

Please notice:
Risk of self-ignition: Due to the risk of self-ignition it is important that oil wetted cloths are soaked with water and disposed of in a tightly closed container.
