How to do...
1. Clean the surface with Intensive Cleaner and water (1:40). Let it dry for at least 8 hours. The surface has to be completely dry when the gel is applied.
2. Remove upstanding fibers. Use herefor sandpaper with a grit of 220. Remove the sanding dust afterwards.
3. Spread a sufficient amount of the gel in a covering layer evenly on the surface. Use a polishing pad (beige, white or red). Polish until the surface gets an uniform appearance and the wood is saturated. Treat the surface in small parts as the gel dries very quickly.
4. Wipe off the treated surface with a cotton cloth thoroughly. On the surface there shouldn't be any excess gel left. Moreover, the surface may not appear wet.
5. Repeat the procedure described in paragraphs 2 and 3, if the surface does not appear saturated after 4 to 6 hours.
6. You can use the surface carefully after 4 to 6 hours after application. Do not expose the treated to moisture for 2 to 3 days - the recommended hardening time is 3 days.
7. After 3 days, you can clean the surface with soap spray and a cloth regularly. The Oil Refresher and the wood floor soap can be used if you want to clean the surface on a daily basis. Minor damages or water spots can be repaired easily with the Intensive Cleaner and the Working Tap Gel.
